Snow

Well, going out did not happen. It is once again snowing here and although we are from Pullman and brave the weather quite often we were not feeling going out tonight. Instead we are all huddled up in the common room in our hostel. There are tons of people down here right now, so it seems like we all kind of had the same idea! Soccer is playing on the TV and we are all sitting around just talking about whatever comes to mind. Like I said, I really do like the hostel scene. I definitely want to do what my brother did and travel around Europe or wherever after college. Traveling makes me realize how much world there is to see and explore. So many people to meet and things to experience. I want to go everywhere and it stresses me out..I feel like there is just not enough time in the world!

Everyone hanging out

Shoji and Daniel. Daniel is German and Shoji Japanese but they speak in perfect English to each other!

Craig in the kitchen area!

I have only been here for three days but I feel like it's been much longer. I also feel like I know the guys really well for such a short time! I am having so much fun so far it is unreal. I can't wait for what the rest of the trip brings but I will be sad to leave Japan and say goodbye to all the cool people I have met in the hostel. There are, however, some questions no one is able to answer about Tokyo. The first is the cleanliness. Tokyo is easily the cleanest city I have ever been to. However, there are no garbage cans! We will often walk around for miles until we finally go into a restaurant to toss our garbage. The trains are impeccable and they even have designated smoking stations. The second question is where is Ash Ketchum and the town of Pallet? We have been in Tokyo for three days and no Pokemon! What a let down.

Update: Shoji answered the last question. He is taking us to the Pokemon Center Wednesday. Booo Yah! Elite Four here I come.
